Survery Report of Working Environments at Naval Workplace


Abstract
This study intended to obtain a basic information on the status of working environments in naval workaplace.
We were examed and accessed environmental measurement of workplace from October to December 1992.
@ES The results obtains were as follows;
@EN 1. The most excess rates of TLVs was noise(75%) among harzardous agents, and the noise exposure of all painting and sanding work exceeded TLVs.
2. The average duration of dust exposure(4.1 hours/day) was longer than that of noise exposure(4.1 hours/day).
3. The excess rates of TLVs were 75.0% in noise, 26.6% in organic solvent, 23.1% in illumination 8.1% in dust and 0% in gases, and the over rate f these hazardous agents was 31.9%.
4. While the hazardous agents, included noise, organic solvent, dust, gases, non-ionizing radiation, asbestos, acid, alkali and chemicals, were revealed in naval workplace, physical check up were not at all performed in accordance with exposed
hazardous agents.
